Fabian Wolf wins the Summer Opening Sylt

Plenty of sunshine for the German Windsurf Cup Whitsun Regatta

In the official rankings, 14 foil races were held at the Summer Opening on Sylt. The wind wasn’t strong enough for a fin slalom competition. On the foil, however, one man proved almost unbeatable. Fabian Wolf won 13 of the 14 eliminations.

Lars Poggemann secured second place. Anton Richter finished third. Lia Franke was the top woman.

The California Windsurf Cup moves on to the next round in St. Peter-Ording from 15 to 19 July. The event also counts as the IFCA Foiling European Championship.
