The standard among riding direction changes in windsurfing

This video shows the power jibe in slow motion. More precisely, the step jibe variant of the power jibe, where the sail is shifted after the feet have changed position.

After half way through the jibe, the back foot is placed on the deck between the mast base and the front foot strap. This position allows the board to maintain a flat planing position and the rig to be shifted in a controlled manner even in rough water.
