FPT Geneva 2025
Windsurf freestyle event on the Lake Geneva
From October 8 to 12, 2025, a competition on the FPT Tour took place in Geneva. As in previous years, the freestylers brought some serious windsurfing action right into the heart of the city. The schedule included foil-style - freestyling on foils - and tow-in. In the end, there was “only” time for a tow-in competition.
The tow-in, however, was quite the spectacle. A boat created waves on the lake at times, which the competitors used for spectacular jump maneuvers. What’s on offer in tow-in these days is unbelievable. On land, the jumps left spectators with their jaws on the floor.
Although Yentel Caers had been the strongest rider in the heats, someone else came out on top in the end. Frenchman Sam Esteve took the win ahead of Lennart Neubauer and Yentel Caers from Belgium.
