Fin slalom and foiling on Day 1

On 27 July 2026, the closing event of the California Windsurf Cup got underway with three fin slaloms and three foil races. Oliver Schott took the lead in the fin slalom. Colin Stutzke and Leo Richter finished in second and third place respectively.

Oliver Schott received 500 euros from LVM insurance company for his victory in the first race of the event.

Giedrius Liutkus from Lithuania was the fastest on the foil on Thursday. He won all three races. Keno Recke is in second place, ahead of Denmark’s Gustav Permin in third.

The forecast for the weekend is for a cross-shore breeze of up to force seven. On Friday and Saturday evenings, there will be beach parties with DJ Bouncer.
