Duotone 2027er Cosmic D/LAB waveboards - thruster or quad fin setup

Duotone 2027 Cosmic D/LAB Waveboards

The Cosmic is based on the Grip and is built to order with either a thruster or quad fin setup

With the Cosmic, Duotone has created a waveboard for advanced to professional windsurfers who want to enjoy windy European conditions or top international spots with swell.

The manufacturer sees the Cosmic as a stable platform that handles whitewater like a board five liters larger, yet unleashes its radical potential when riding the wave.

Until now, the name “Cosmic” has been used by Duotone for SUPs, but not for windsurf boards. The Cosmic is based on the Grip. Unlike the Grip, the 2027 Cosmic is designed to accelerate better. The camber at the nose has been increased to help cut through whitewater. Modifications to the tail outline are intended to improve turns. It also features new asymmetrical side fins and a weight reduction of 100 to 200 grams.

The Cosmic is available as a quad (i.e., with four fins) in eight sizes ranging from 53 to 106 liters in volume. Three color options are available, made to order for 2,599 to 3,099 euros.

As a thruster (3 fins), the lineup includes four sizes ranging from 82 to 106 liters in volume. Duotone recommends riding the board about 5 liters larger than you would normally choose.
