Windsurf events this coming weekend in Germany
Racer of the Sea Kellenhusen 2026 & Wurster Speedschlag 2026 in Dorum-Neufeld
This coming weekend, two windsurfing events will kick off - one on the Baltic Sea and one on the North Sea in Germany:
On August 15–16, a race in the “Racer of the Sea” series will take place in Kellenhusen (Lübeck Bay). Anyone can participate - the event at the Baltic Sea spot near the Wassersport Kellenhusen surf school is primarily aimed at those who simply want to try their hand at a windsurfing race (fin and foil). The focus is on maximum fun with no equipment restrictions. You can find more information here:

The Wesermünde Windsurfing Club, in cooperation with the VDS, is once again hosting the “Wurster Speedschlag” open regatta on August 15–16. A speed course will be set up off Dorum-Neufeld near Bremerhaven; within a time frame of usually one hour, participants can show who is the fastest man and woman to complete the 250- or 500-meter course.
