Duotone Wave, Freewave & Freestyle Range 2027
Cosmic 4 SLS, Ultra Freewave 2.0 SLS & D/LAB, Super Hero SLS, Duke SLS and Duke
Duotone introduces the second part of its wave, freewave & freestyle range: Information on the three boards and three sails for the 2027 model year is now available online.
Here’s a quick overview:
As for the boards, the Cosmic 4 - featuring SLS construction (72, 82, 88, and 94 liters) - complements the D/LAB version introduced two weeks ago. On the website, you can learn all the differences between the new Cosmic and the previous Grip, as well as the matching fins (manufactured using three different processes).
The Ultra Freewave is now available in the ‘2.0’ version with two additional sizes in both SLS and D/LAB construction. A lot of work has gone into refining the shape: Depending on the fin setup, the board is designed to transform from a new-school freestyle board to a wave board capable of handling waves up to logo height. Duotone offers boards with volumes of 74, 84, 94, 104, 112, and 119 liters.
In the sail lineup, the Super Hero SLS, the Duke SLS and the Duke join the previously introduced Super Hero D/LAB and the IDOL.
The Super Hero SLS is a 4-batten world cup wave sail (available in 10 sizes from 3.0 to 5.7 m2), while the Duke SLS is a 5-batten all-around wave sail (7 sizes from 4.2 to 6.2 m2) and the Duke is the all-rounder for use in all wave, bump & jump and freestyle conditions (8 sizes from 4.2 to 6.7 m2).
