Severne Wave Range 2027

New Pyro shape and modified Blade & Blade Pro, as well as S-1 & S-1 Pro sails

A subtle camo design with red or olive green shades defines the look of Severne’s 2027 wave range.

The Pyro wave board debuts with a completely new shape and construction, developed in collaboration with Philip Köster in Western Australia. The volume is positioned further forward to improve planing. A wide tail with thin rails and footstrap plugs positioned further back are designed to work together to provide more bite and leverage for tighter turns. The outline, rail shape, and rocker line have also been optimized for this purpose.

The board, which weighs between 4.9 and 6.39 kg depending on size, can be ridden as a twin fin, thruster, or quad. Eight sizes with volumes of 66, 74, 79, 83, 87, 93, 99, and 109 liters are available, all at a uniform price of 2,899 euros.

Severne S-1 2027

The sail lineup features two series, each with two versions: The Blade is designed for control, and the S-1 for maneuverability - each available in both standard and pro versions.

The Blade remains the 5-batten wave sail for riders seeking maximum control - further developed in collaboration with Scott McKercher and Philip Köster. New for 2027 are seamlessly welded foot panels and carbon reinforcement strips (adopted from the Blade Pro). The wind range is also said to have been expanded in both directions. Eleven sizes ranging from 3.1 to 6.2 m² are available.

The Blade is made entirely of carbon-reinforced fabric and is fully welded. The leech features the Project85 material, which is 25% lighter, while the luff uses Taffeta-X-Ply to optimally distribute forces. The Pro version of the Blade is lighter and available in nine sizes ranging from 3.7 to 6.2 m².

Severne S-1 Pro 2027

The focus of the S-1 4-batten wave sail - which was further developed in collaboration with Jaeger Stone across all sizes - is on maneuverability. It is designed to respond more quickly and more directly, achieved in part through a reinforced internal connection between the sail top and the trim block. The split mast pocket is intended to simplify rigging. Eight sizes ranging from 3.3 to 5.6 m² are available.

The Pro version of the S-1 also features carbon-reinforced fabric, which improves visibility around the actual sail window area. As with the Blade Pro, Project85 and Taffeta-X-Ply are used. The S-1 Pro line includes seven sizes ranging from 3.6 to 5.6 m².
