Gunsails Re-Seal and Re-Torro
Sails containing a high proportion of recycled material are available
Gunsails has reduced the prices of its 2026 Re-Seal and Re-Torro sails. For this German manufacturer based in Saarbrücken, products with the prefix ‘Re’ indicate the use of recycled materials.
In the case of the Re-Seal and Re-Torro, the sail film is made from 100 per cent recycled PET bottles. The sails are said to have the same characteristics as the conventional models.
The Re-Torro freemove all-rounder, for example, costs 469 euros instead of 555 euros in the 5 m2 size. The Re-Seal wave sail has been reduced from 569 euros to 479 euros in the same example size.
