2026 Slalom Sails for Fins and Foils
At Sailloft Hamburg, the sail lines designed for top speeds on regatta courses are called “Ultimate Fin” and “Ultimate Foil.” Both lines are now available in updated versions.
Ultimate Fin 2.6
“Explosive acceleration, maximum speed, and optimal control” is what Sailloft promises for the Ultimate Fin. In the 2026 version, more surface area has been added below the boom, and the top has been made slimmer. Weight has been saved in the upper section through a change in the choice of materials. This is intended to improve the balance of the sail, enhance acceleration, and ensure more neutral behavior in gusts.
Further optimizations involve the battens and the profile in the boom area. The sail is designed to be punchy even in lighter winds, and the profile is intended to flip quickly and smoothly during jibes.
The Ultimate Fin is available in five sizes ranging from 5.0 m2 to 8.4 m2.

Ultimate Foil 2.6
The Ultimate Foil has been completely redesigned in this new version. The high-aspect ratio sail is designed to be very easy to control in overpowered conditions. The very low center of pressure also contributes to this. The boom position has also been lowered.
The sail profile has been flattened and optimized for a higher top speed. As with the Ultimate Fin, the construction has been optimized to reduce weight in the top section. The monofilm panel has been enlarged toward the base to improve downward visibility.
The Ultimate Foil is available in four sizes ranging from 5.2 m2 to 8.5 m2.
