International German Windsurfing Championship 2026

Update #2 - Fabian Wolf leads the overall standings after eight foil slalom races

The third day of the German Championships on Sylt brought plenty of sunshine as well as wind for the foil racers. Seven races were held, six of which were won by Fabian Wolf.

After a total of eight races so far, the newly crowned Foil-Windsurf European Vice Champion leads the overall standings by a comfortable margin.

In second place is Sem Stroosma of the Netherlands. Vincent Langer, a multiple German, European and World Champion, is currently in third place, while Meno Büchler and Jesse Richter round out the top 5.

The International German Windsurfing Championship continues through Sunday; according to the latest weather forecast, the wind this weekend could be strong enough for more races.
