Westerland, September 29, 2026 — Three men’s foil heats were held on Tuesday at the Citroën Windsurf World Cup Sylt.

Fabian Wolf of Germany currently leads the standings with two wins and a fourth-place finish, ahead of 2025 world champion Matteo Iachino and runner-up Pierre Mortefon of France.

Fabian Wolf, the 28-year-old European Championship runner-up, has thus secured a perfect starting position for the upcoming races. He’ll need to keep his cool now, as Iachino is trailing by just 0.6 points.

Amado Vrieswijk is lying in wait in fourth place. The man from Bonaire has the speed to win the event. However, he collided with an object in the first final and finished only seventh.

The standings for the remaining German competitors: Nico Prien is currently in 12th place, Lars Poggemann in 29th, Jesse Richter in 31st, and Jonas Naumann is 35th. No Austrians or Swiss are competing in the foil slalom off Sylt.
