PWA World Cup Fuerteventura 2026 - Slalom X - Day 3

Three-way battle between Jenna Gibson, Femke van der Veen and Justine Lemeteyer

Three Slalom X races were held today for both the men and women. First, they competed on a slalom course – without the obstacle that had been in place yesterday – to earn additional points toward the overall standings.

Then the course was changed to “Long Distance”; the women had to complete this long-distance race once today, and the men twice.

In the women’s competition, Femke van der Veen won the first race today. Justine Lemeteyer then took the win in the second race. Despite a bad cold, Jenna Gibson won the long-distance race and thus maintained her lead.

However, her lead is now razor-thin; just 0.3 points separate the three windsurfers in first through third place.
