PWA/WWT Windsurf World Cup Sylt 2026 - Update 7

Photo recap of the prize-giving ceremony

Amid glorious sunshine and high spirits, the winners of the freestyle and foil slalom events were crowned on Sunday at the Citroën Windsurf World Cup Sylt. Reason enough to bring you a round-up with some colourful pictures from the final day.

The wind wasn’t strong enough for the wave discipline this year. Looking ahead, however, there are some real treats in store for the wind-powered wave acrobats.

In just two weeks’ time, the Aloha Classic kicks off on Maui (19–30 October 2026). But that’s not the end of it, as in November the World Cup circuit moves on to Chile to crown the world champions in the wave discipline. Both events are part of the top ranking series and are therefore particularly important for all riders.
